ABOUT US

We are a church family in Oran Park who desire to know Jesus more, loving and serving the community in which we exist.  We desire others to know Jesus and want to share His everlasting hope and unfailing love with you.

“Loving God – Serving Others"

Where and when we meet?

We meet Sunday mornings @ 10 am at Oran Park Public School.  Off street parking is available, please drive in!

Refuge Kids (incl creche) and Refuge Youth enjoy programs during the gathering.  We commence with everyone together before our kids and youth head to their groups about 20 mins after we start.

Connect Groups meet throughout the week at homes in and around Oran Park to look at God’s Word, encourage and pray for one another.

Who comes to The Refuge?

People of all ages, nationalities, and backgrounds call The Refuge their Church home.  We live in Oran Park or surrounding areas in the Macarthur region.  Everyone is very welcome.

Why are we called The Refuge?

Our name comes from Psalm 46:1-2. This verse is the core of our hope – it is God who is The Refuge.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore, we will not fear.

Psalm 46:1-2

Why we do this?

We do this to share the immense love of God, shown through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus to others, so they too can come to know Him and have eternal life.

For God so loved the world that He gave us His only Son,
that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16

Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation

Mark 16:15
